Sportsman's Items

    Pocket knives

What type of knife do you carry?

Pocket knives are a defining attribute of an outdoorsman. There is no best knife, just your favorite.  We abuse them, but we seldomly without them.  Does your knife need a little TLC?

    Every Day Carry

Many of us carry a pocket knife every day. We enjoy the variety from a traditional Uncle Henry to a current model from Kershaw or Columbia River.  Perhaps you have  a West Michigan original, White River Knife. We will sharpen your knife, blow the lint out and put a drop of lube in to keep it in good shape. Most sharpening is $5 per blade.  Did you break a tip?  We can grind a new point for a few dollars more.

    Fishing

Fillet knives should be extra sharp

    Fillet Knives

Fillet knives are thin and flexible.  You need a small knife for panfish, but a 30 pound salmon requires a larger knife. We sharpen them all

We use an electric fillet knife

No worries. We sharpen electric knife blades as well.  We treat electric knife blades as two blades for pricing.

    Pricing

Most fillet knives will cost about $5.00 for us to sharpen. Electric versions will cost about $10.

    Hunting

    Hunting knives

Hunting knives are all different sizes and shapes. We will sharpen them all.  We will even sharpen the gut hook if your knife has one.

    Pricing

Just like kitchen knives, most hunting knives cost $5.00 to sharpen. Tanto blades, broken tips, and serrated knives may have a small surcharge. Automatic knives are accepted. We do not disassemble knives to repair mechanisms.

    Archery

    Your broadheads can be sharpened.

    We sharpen Broadheads

October 1 means the opening day for archery hunting for whitetail deer in Michigan. If your broad heads are not razor sharp, do not wait until after the hunt to have your broad heads sharpened.

    Pricing

There are multiple type of broad heads available on the market today. Each broad head will require a different amount of work, so the price will be different as well. Most will be priced between $3-$10.

    Ice Augers

    Ice Augers are Sharp!

A dull ice auger blade is still as sharp as most kitchen knives, so be careful when removing!

Please remove the blade from the auger

Please just send us the blade.  Make sure you save the bolts and nuts. Perhaps take a picture before you remove them to jog your memory when reinstalling.

    Pricing

Pricing will vary with size and type of auger. We price per blade, usually about $5 each. Sometimes we even accept fillets as tips!
